Cost analysis and project management are also important skills to have, and you'll need to be able to outsource work to subcontractors, provide advice on a range of contractual obligations, advise on procurement strategies, and more.
The salary starts at around £20,000 to £30,000, but senior roles can pay anything up to £65,000. What's more, people who are working in private practice can earn far greater sums, so it can certainly be a lucrative career track.
