To be suitable for the position you must have;
- A Degree in Civil engineering or a related topic to railway engineering
- Fluent in both spoken and written German
- Solid understanding of GSM-R, copper and fibre optic cables
- Independent, systematic and team-oriented workmanship
- Great knowledge of AutoCAD as well as the planning phases HOAI 1-9 for Rail telecommunication systems
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- The ability to speak and write in English
- Willingness to travel to multiple offices or international projects
Role Information;
You will be working on interesting national and / or international projects in the area of rail telecommunication systems. You will be responsible for Interdisciplinary project teams, with great influence for decision making on projects. Your main responsibility is the independent planning of telecommunication technology for railways in remote and conurbation networks up to high speed lines. You will also work on regional networks as well as city and subways. Another important part of your role will correspond to the planning services for all HOAI service phases for Transmission technologies, optical fibre and copper cable systems, IP networks, passenger information and Planning of Telecommunication control systems and radio systems.
