Navartis are currently working with a specialist land reclamation and property development specialist who provide global multifunction solutions to organisations across the world. They remain a privately owned business operating across a variety of sectors but with a heavy focus on land development and ports.
My client is now seeking to hire a permanent Planner to support projects from a base in the North East. The ideal candidate will have a proficient level of experience using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Fast Track, will be a good team player able to communicate at all levels.
Duties and Responsibilities;-
- Experienced planner; Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Fast Track
- Complete weekly and monthly look-ahead with destruct/construction updates
- Cost control, document control and material control coordination;
- Lead Plan of the Week meetings, interactive planning meetings and any such meetings/workshops that may be required to engage clients and contractors with the planning function;
- Develop, deliver and maintain plans and supporting information in compliance with the PCIP and Works Information requirements of the contract, including Earned Value Analysis;
- Work with Senior management team to develop an Integrated Master Schedules;
- Maintenance of programme including milestones, WBS and resource/cost loading where applicable;
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring and controlling critical path activity, Risk Registers etc, and identifying planning techniques that can be used to maximise resource utilisation and reduction of timescales;
- Production of such reports necessary by the client or the Project Manager for the purposes of reporting and control.
