Job Title:
Health, Safety, Enviroment and Quality Manager, HSEQ Manager, HSQE Manager

Northampton, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary / Benefits:
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum, Car allowance + Package

Our client gets involved with various projects UK wide including Grid connections, construction, LV/HV and Civils and infrastructure.

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and compliance
- Have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of Integrated Management Systems
- Have a working knowledge of construction processes
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent NVQ Level 5
- IEMA Certificate or equivalent
- Quality, Environment and Health and Safety Internal or Lead Auditing certificates
- Experience of working on civil and electrical construction projects
- Experience of working on a CDM construction site

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Electricity and Gas supply industry experience
- Have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS), Gas Industry Registration Scheme (GIRS) and Achilles accreditations and registrations

Role Information;
Provide HSEQ support to the whole of the company whilst assisting and advising the Board of Directors to meet all statutory requirements. Provide HSEQ technical support and guidance to the project delivery teams as required. Retaining company accreditations and provide technical advice and support for new and expanded accreditations where necessary. Investigating and reporting on near misses, accidents and RIDDOR reportable incidents. Identifies safety related problems and develops company procedures and processes to facilitate improved safety. Assists with the training, development and provision of safety advice to staff.
