Job Title:
Health & Safety Advisor, also keen to hear from Health & safety administrators with site experience

Blackpool, Easily commutable for those based in Blackburn, Bolton, Bury, Preston, Rochdale, Manchester and Liverpool

Salary / Benefits:
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum, and great company benefits package

Company Information:
One of the leading civil engineering subcontractors in the UK with offices in the UK and Canada. They take pride in being able to provide complete in house solutions to civil engineering and construction problems and employ over 250 skilled staff. Majority of their work is within the water sector and their clients include Scottish, Yorkshire, Anglian, Wessex and Thames water.

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Experience in a construction environment, only 2 / 3 years' experience
- Health & Safety degree or civil engineering degree

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Knowledge of the water sector
- Worked on or exposure to major civil engineering projects such as shaft sinking, tunnelling, wastewater treatment plants

Role Information;
Navartis are currently working with a civil engineering contractor who have seen rapid growth in the last decade and continue to do so. They're looking to expand their SHEQ team with an advisor to work on various projects around the North west. The ideal candidate should be flexible on travelling and locations as this is a predominantly site based position with projects currently in Manchester, Blackpool and Cumbria. You should also be flexible on staying away during the week if needs be, all costs will covered. My client is on the lookout for a young and energetic SHEQ Advisor who has just got their feet in to the industry and is now looking for that next step in their career. You will be a confident communicator as you will be dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds and also you must be happy spending time on site making sure any issues are dealt with promptly and professionally. The sites vary in size so there is a small amount of physical activity required when you will be carrying out audits. If you've recently graduated with a degree in the health & safety field or a civil engineering degree and have now moved in to Health & Safety then I want to hear from you.
