Job Title:
Head of department Rolling Stock Homologation / Department Leader Safety

Cologne / Wiesbaden / Frankfurt

Salary / Benefits:
€€90000 - €€110000 per annum

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Several plus years of experience with rolling stock homologation and safety systems
- Experience with CENELEC Standards and Large complex projects
- Must have proven experience leading a team in delivery of projects with a great track record

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Fluent German and English language
- Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally
- A Passion for developing talented people to their full potential

Role Information;
Acquisition of the required order volume. Coordination and cooperation with sales. Strategic & operational planning as well as taking profit responsibility for the specialist department. Continuous monitoring of department performance. Contact for key customers of the department. Quality assurance of the services provided within the department and ensuring that the work is carried out in a professional and timely manner. Maintenance and evaluation of relevant market data (market potentials, projects, customers,
competitors). Further development of services. Disciplinary and professional management of the subordinate employees at several locations. Personnel planning and supporting recruitment of specialist staff. Identifying training / qualification needs of the subordinate employees, organising and realising appropriate training courses.
