Job Title:
Change Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor also interested in Commercial Managers

Location:
West London, commutable from Watford, Slough, Harrow, Woking, Epsom and Central London

Salary / Benefits:
£60,000 - £70,000 plus car/allowance and package

Start Date:
ASAP

Company Information:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with fast paced tier 1 principal contractor for a Change Manager to be responsible for the management of change on Crossrail Works Package 3 including identifying entitlement to change with the project team, notifying entitlement to the client, valuing the change and ultimately ensuring Target Cost is increased in order to maximise opportunity.

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Proven knowledge or change control management
- A degree in a relevant subject eg, Quantity Surveying or Change Management
- Civil engineering project experience (Ideally on Network Rail projects)
- Experience of forms of contract used in civil engineering (e.g. NEC3, ICC) and experience on Target Cost contracts

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Experience on Network Rail forms of contract (NR12A etc.)
- MRICS / MCIOB / MCIES
- PTS

Role Information;
Management of change process. Identifying change with the project team. Ascertaining and subsequently demonstrating contractual entitlement to change. Preparation of notices to the client of change entitlement as requirement by the contract. Valuing change to ensure all costs associated with he change are recovered through a target uplift. Interfacing with the project team (particularly PMs and Planner). Maintenance of an up to date change control register. Reviewing contractual correspondence from the client in order to identify change and reviewing of instructions issued by client in order to determine their sufficiency and correctness. Preparation of early warning notices for any potential future change and organising subsequent risk reduction meeting. Maintenance of early warning register. Interfacing with client in order to demonstrate entitlement to change.
