Job Title:
Business Development / Sales Manager - Electricity Distribution

London / Remote Working.

Salary / Benefits:
GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 plus car / allowance & package.

Working for a successful Independent Distribution Network Operator specialising in climate-smart high voltage electrical network infrastructure who are one of the largest producers and suppliers of electricity and heat in Europe

The position is based out of our clients Central London Office however the role will be predominantly homebased / remote.

Looking for candidate with

  • Experience in a similar role working for a Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
  • Good understanding and knowledge of electricity distribution / High Voltage Infrastructure
  • Experience with working with Independent Connection Providers (ICP's)
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in electrical, electronic, general engineering or equivalent.
  • Any experience in Grid Protection, Renewable Energy, Micro Grids, Smart Grids, Battery Storage PV's, EV's, Solar, Private Wire Networks, HV Energy Infrastructure, Substations, Power Distribution, Network Automation, Smart Controls, Wind Power etc.

Role Information;

  • Key account management of clients across a number of sectors
  • Assisting seniors members of the team in developing new sales pipeline
  • Completing other presales activities such as market and client research, cold calling and lead development
  • Progressing opportunities from bidding, through to successful close and hand over to the operations team
  • Producing initial financial offering to clients
  • Acquiring sales growth through new clients in accordance with company strategy;
  • Identifying client and market trends by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Tracking individual contributors and project activity.
  • Account management of key client relationships.
  • Working with the Marketing team to develop and adapt sales collateral for smart technologies to explain the Vattenfall value proposition.
  • Using financial models to produce indicative non-binding offer
