Working for a successful technology partner who are working at the forefront of telecommunications and technology, bidding across the transport sector, primarily in rail and highways
Skills and experience required:
- 3 or more years Bid Writer experience providing high quality content and responses for high and medium-value bids, ideally in a services or solutions environment.
- Experience of working on PQQ's, bids and proposals to the public sector in an environment such as Traffic, Rail, Intelligent Transport Systems, Defence and Emergency Services markets
- Experience of developing propositions (or alternative bids/offers)
- Experience with customer management and the ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation. Excellent writing and editing skills and excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
Role Information
- You will be responsible for the development of high-quality content and responses for PQQ, Bid and Proposal submissions for the Transport business.
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts, technical and commercial leads within the business or bid partners to develop compelling written responses.
- Participate in workshops and method development events to gather information and develop these into responses which are uniquely suited to each opportunity.
- Adapt SMEs' technical language to suit the needs of the response without changing technical propositions.
- Manage the development of these responses to meet milestones in the bid programme, keeping bid teams (and bid managers) updated on progress.
- Develop high-quality re-usable content and responses, including service descriptions, methodologies, Vs, case-studies for use in future Bids and Proposals to be stored within the clients (Bid library).
- Attend and contribute to win/loss reviews, gathering feedback on your work and actively seeking ways to improve the quality of proposals and responses.
