Job Title
Associate/Cost Manager - Advisory Services (PPM) also interested in hearing from Commercial Managers.

North West Yorkshire, commutable from York, Leeds, Harrogate, Bradford, Sheffield, Doncaster and Manchester.

Salary / Benefits
£50,000 - £63,000 per annum, dependant on expereince. Package includes a profit share scheme (worth around £6,000 and a £2,500 flexible bonus package).

Due to continued business growth and internal succession my client has a new opportunity for a Associate Level Cost/Commercial Manager to work within our Project and Programme Management (PPM) team on transport projects predominantly in the rail sector.

To be suitable for the position you must have
Demonstrable experience of delivering cost management services throughout the asset lifecycle. Cost Management training or relevant qualifications. Demonstrable management and team development experience. Knowledge and understanding of GRIP process for major projects. Cross sector knowledge and learning. A Degree or Minimum HND/HNC (ideally quantity surveying) will concider other engineering degrees with extencive QS/Commercial background.

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have
- Attained Chartership with a relevant professional body ie. RICS
- Experience of bidding and work winning.
- Rail/Transport expereince however - candidates from a Energy or Management Consultancy
- Background will also be considered

Role Information
Responsible for building our Cost Management capability in NW&Y. Based in Leeds and other regional cities. Report to the Lead for Advisory Services in our Leeds office. Provide Cost Management Support to delivery teams in, Feasibility stage cost estimation for major projects, Risk analysis, Value management, Procurement strategy advice, Tendering and procurement and Post contract commercial control and delivery.
